Hand-picked grapes, stainless steel
Since the discovery of sparkling wine production by French monks in the 16th century, the tradition of producing quality sparkling wines has been alive.
Our Rosé Frizzante is made of Zweigelt grapes, which were picked at the ideal time to make a light and fruity wine. The Zweigelt grapes grow in our vineyards at the Eichkogel, where they find the ideal ripening conditions. Our Frizzante was matured in stainless steel which preserved the delicately fruit with a pleasant light mousseux.
Both in the nose and on the palate, this rosé presents itself with finesse-rich strawberry and cherry aromas. With its sparkling lightness and fruity elegance, this Frizzante is an ideal aperitif, a companion for light dishes or as a refreshment on summer evening.
The name can be traced back to the first documented mention of our winery in 1718. At our 300th anniversary we bottled the first Frizzante, named “Frizzante 300”.
