This wine is a symphony of the vines that make our Thermenregion so unique. The blend consists of three grape varieties, namely Rotgipfler, Zierfandler and Pinot Blanc, all of which are grown in the best locations around the local Anninger hill in Gumpoldskirchen. This blend offers a first insight into the new world of the Thermenregion DAC, which will be launched with the 2023 harvest.
In the cellar, the wine was taken special care of and each grape variety was vinified separately. After fermentation, the combined wines were allowed to mature together. Some of the wine was aged in small wood barrels, which gives the “Gumpoldskirchen” a multi-layered structure. The fine balance between fruitiness and acidity creates a harmonious fullness, making this wine a true delight for the senses.
